What usually goes wrong

Elsewhere

You brief a senior, a junior builds

The person who understood your business disappears after the sales call. Nobody owns the quality of what actually ships.

Scope drifts until the budget is gone

Hourly billing with no written scope means every change is a renegotiation and every deadline slips.

You find out late

Weeks of silence, then a demo that isn't what you asked for. By then there's no time to correct it.

Freelancers ghost

Solo contractors go quiet mid-build and you inherit half-finished code with no documentation.

What you get

With Werkit

One senior lead, named

They run scope, product management, design decisions and QA on every ticket. You message one person and get a real answer.

A fixed-scope proposal

Written deliverables, a fixed price and a delivery date before anyone writes a line of code.

A vetted builder pod

African builders we recruited, trained and have paid through our own rails since 2020.

Weekly working demos

Every week you see the product running, not a status document.

The right stack for the job

Bubble and Lovable when speed wins, modern web when you need control, and AI-accelerated development run by senior leads throughout.

A clean handover

You own the accounts, the code and the documentation at the end. No lock-in.

From brief to handover

The brief is agreed

You sign off on what the build has to do, what it costs, and the date everyone is working toward.

Elsewhere, it drifts

The senior who understood your business moves on. Scope creeps, quality slips, and you find out weeks after the work went off plan. The date moves with it.

Here, one senior lead owns it

A named expert owns scope, design decisions and QA from the first call to handover. When something starts to move, they pull it back before it costs you a week.

The pod builds, the lead reviews

Vetted builders execute while the senior lead QAs daily. Every week you see working software, not a status document.

Delivered on the date you agreed

Fixed scope, fixed price, clean handover. You own the app, the accounts and the documentation at the end.

What clients say

Custom shift scheduler

The scheduling and workforce platform Werkit built changed everything. What used to take over a month now takes hours, and unpaid hours dropped to zero. We would not have been able to retain our client without the solution Werkit built.

Product management

Working with Jean-Samuel is always super straightforward and reassuring. He knows how to frame things properly, turn needs into clear specs and add the right technical depth to make projects stronger. With his clear communication and reliable delivery, he is genuinely a Product Manager I'm always happy to work with.

Frequently asked questions

What does a build cost?

Every build is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope before work starts. You get a real number after the scope call, not an estimate that drifts. Tell us your budget range in the form and the senior lead will tell you straight what fits inside it.

Who actually builds my product?

A vetted African builder pod, led by a senior expert who owns scope, design and QA. The senior lead is accountable for what ships. They don't hand off and disappear.

Do you work fixed-price or hourly?

Fixed scope with a fixed price. We write the deliverables down first, quote against them, and handle changes as an explicit, priced amendment rather than silent scope creep.

Bubble or custom code: how do you decide?

By what the product needs. Bubble and no-code get you to market fastest for MVPs, marketplaces and internal tools. Modern web code is right when you need bespoke performance, complex data or full control. The senior lead recommends in the scope call and explains the trade-off.

How do you handle timezones?

Our delivery teams work in Central and East Africa Time (UTC+2/+3), which gives meaningful overlap with EU hours and US East Coast mornings. Weekly demos are scheduled in your timezone.

Who owns the code and accounts?

You do. Repositories, Bubble apps, hosting and third-party accounts are yours, and we hand over documentation at delivery.

What happens after launch?

We can continue on a smaller maintenance or iteration scope, or hand over cleanly to your internal team. Both are normal. We'll agree which before the build ends.
